The Salar de Uyuni is the largerst salt flat in the world. Situated at 3,650 meters above sea level in Bolivia, its 12,000 square km of salt make it the biggest reserve of lithium on Earth.
“Salar” tells the adventure of the two ultra runners, Nico Valsesia and Marco Gazzola, who travelled to Bolivia and ran no-stop for 170 km to cross the Salar de Uyuni, an achievement never accomplished by any athlete.
