Synopsis

In the 2007/08 football season, a small football club entered the cadet championship, reaches a historic milestone that was unthinkable until a few months before: playing, at the end of an amazing season, the Play Off finals to arrive at a dream called Serie A.

It would be the first time in the top flight; the first time that a team born ten years ago from the fusion of two distinct and in some ways rival contexts imposes itself on the national spotlight; the first time that a competitive project based on the concept of belonging achieves similar results.

The final over two matches, in Bergamo and Lecce in the summer of 2008, is the highest point that the U.C. AlbinoLeffe reaches in its history, a dream that the Val Seriana team, born from the merger of the companies of two countries (Albino and Leffe), shares with its nearly twenty thousand inhabitants.

The documentary film tells this long year, definitely out of the ordinary.
